and this is amazing. It’s better than I’d hoped for. Has a thick, soft, pillowy, slide to it without feeling greasy, tacky or sticky. Put it on a few hours ago and i can still feel it protecting my lips. I don’t like the price, but I do like the results.

I’ve been using DHC products for years well before they started selling on Amazon or in Ulta and they make a quality product. They’re a Japanese brand and the Japanese (and Koreans) are leaders in the beauty and skincare arena which is why I mainly use products from those countries. I’ve always liked this lip cream; it’s simple and not medicated. I have very sensitive skin and I never cared for Chapstick because it’s so waxy and just sat on my lips in a thick, ugly layer. The DHC consistency is more of a creamy wax than a hard wax and I agree that it’s pricey for the quantity, but I have no problem paying a premium for a quality product and it works for me. There’s no scent or taste and it’s moisturizing.
I usually have a few of them scattered around the house, one in the car and one in my purse. When you get towards the end of the stick, it’s easy enough to use the top of your fingernail (if they’re long enough) or a clean orange stick to get to the remainder at the bottom of the barrel if you so desire. I hate waste, so it’s not a bother for me, but I think you’ll be pleased if you give this one a try. They arrived on time and well packaged.

It’s very moisturizing but it stinks. I hate the smell of this so much. Honestly just get Vaseline. It will be way more moisturizing, and it won’t have a smell like this.
