This stuff is awesome. I use it on my lips and my nails when applying it. I have brittle nails and since using this on them, they are longer than I’ve ever seen them get without breaking. But yeah, great on lips too, lol.

I’ve tried countless lip balms and I really liked this one. For starters, the packaging is great. I love the twist bottle type opening that slips out the perfect amount of product. I simple honey scent is also nice, but not overpowering. I keep this product in my bathroom and use it before bed and in the mornings and like the small, sheer amount of gloss that it gives, while also moisturizing. I’d say it’s comparable to Laneige, but at a better price.

Amazing – healed my chronically dry, chapped lips. I used this morning as well as nightly and saw the transformation in roughly a week.

I’ve had it only a few days. But I love it already more than my regular lip balms. I think I will be buying all the different vertions of this.

I’m embarrassed to say but it took me several moments to figure out how to get the product out. Once applied to glided on with ease. I’m excited to see the results.

I don’t understand the hype over this lip butter.
I was excited to try the CNP Honey Lip Butter. The promise of Manuka honey and propolis extract – both known for their antimicrobial properties – piqued my interest. Here’s my breakdown and experience.
Honey of a List, or Marketing Hype?
Alluring Ingredients: Manuka honey boasts antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, while propolis is a beehive resin with similar benefits. In theory, this combo could be a lip-healing dream team. But…
Scrutinizing the Science: While research supports the general benefits of Manuka honey and propolis for wound healing and irritation, studies specifically on their effectiveness in lip balms, absolutely nothing about the feel, smell, or experience made me think Manuka was anywhere in the balm. I am actually kind of convinced it a gimmick. We use Manuka honey in this house weekly, and are big fans, I have zero reactions to it, but I did this.
Ingredient Breakdown: The ingredient list prioritizes ingredients commonly found in petrolatum-based lip balms, including petrolatum itself (often referred to as petroleum jelly). While petrolatum is a great occlusive moisturizer, it doesn’t have the same healing or repairing properties) as the advertised Manuka honey and propolis extract.
Textural Truths:
Balmy Bliss: The texture is smooth and slick, offering a good initial layer of moisture. Those who enjoy a classic Vaseline-like balm might find this appealing. It’s honestly hard for me to believe this is nothing short of Vaseline in a fun and very expensive package.
Night Shift Only?: While the ointment-like texture is great for nighttime use, it might feel a bit heavy for daytime wear under lipstick or for everyday touch-ups.
Caveat Emptor:
Price Point Ponderings: This lip butter falls on the pricier end of the lip balm spectrum. Considering the lack of published studies on the specific lip balm formula and its hero ingredients in this context, the price tag might be a turnoff for some. I
Sensitive Skin Savvy: While fragrance-free, some users have reported sensitivity to the product — I share in their experiences, it absolutely aggravated my upper lip in quite weird way. Have only had one other product do this, so I’m suspecting the quality is low. Patch testing is recommended, especially for those with very sensitive lips.
In Conclusion:
The CNP Honey Lip Butter offers a petrolatum-based, occlusive moisture layer, which some might find beneficial. However, the advertised Manuka honey and propolis extract appear lower on the ingredient list, leaving the healing or repairing properties in question. The price point might not be justified for everyone – I certainly wouldn’t buy it again, nor recommend it.

If you love Laniege lip mask then this is going to blow your mind. It is so much better. Long lasting, hydrating, not sticky or tacky. No overwhelming scent, and it layers great with other lip products. I recommend to everyone I know. Please stop raising the price… but I’ll keep paying because ITS GOLD!

I like it. When I first got it, I reapplied several times because my lips were pretty dry. Don’t do this—it may cause irritation. That said, after removing it and letting things calm down, I noticed that my lips were incredibly smooth the next day. Now I use it each night and my lips haven’t been chapped or rough feeling once. Good stuff and lasts through the night.
