I love this mat! At first I was skeptical because when I unrolled it, it wouldn’t lay flat and you can’t roll it with the cork side on the inside…so the ends curl down when laid out. However, after a couple of uses, when I unroll it, it now lays flat. And it is the best mat I’ve gotten so far! And I’ve tried quite a few.
It is amazingly light – I never knew a mat could be so light!
And it is the most grippy mat I’ve ever had. Not a sticky grippy, but a really comfortable grippy. So no slipping happening at all! And the hotter I get, the more grip there is. It’s awesome. And it has no smell at all! So in child’s pose, I was used to smelling a light rubber smell with my previous mats. But with this one – no smell at all. And the thickness is just right – I have great balance on this mat and it doesn’t hurt my knees. And as a bonus, it is so very pretty!
So all in all, it is a great purchase! Amazing quality for the price! I’ve used it 6 days a week since I got it and I don’t regret it one bit!

Here’s a new idea for you. My senior dog was having traction problems on our kitchen floor and the vet suggested laying down yoga mats on his pathways. We started with those cheap thin ones and although they worked okay, they were ugly and we had to take them outside to hose them off to clean them and then hang to dry. He’s a 100-lb lab, so his nails were roughing them up and they looked pretty raggedy. It was a pleasure to get rid of them. These cork mats look nice, I can vacuum and mop them where they lay, and they clean up very well. They are no-slip and tough enough to withstand his nails, so no rips or gouges in the ??? (many) months we’ve been using them. Who knows? Maybe I’ll even use them for yoga sometime.

I have been using this for over a month now and it is still in excellent condition! Very sturdy and doesn’t fall apart like the foam mats!!! The other non-cork mats started falling apart on me so fast, so I wanted something that would last! There are more expensive cork mats on here, but I don’t see why to buy something more expensive! This mat is perfect! Would highly recommend if you want something that holds up to hard workouts!!

It smells better compared to the other rubber mats and I love the design so much! Only thing is that if you sweat a lot on it the black paint comes off and makes mark on your cloth and skin, but I still use it as home practice one.

While I truly loved this mat initially, at 7 months of use the mat is coming apart at the spots where the feet flip. The thin layer of cork is being rubbed off. Anotherwords, although the concept is great, the product is NOT fit for its intended use after 7 months. Additionally, I went to the manufactures website and submitted my issue, but no one has gotten back to me.

This mat is amazing. I used it for the first time today in a hot yoga class. My grip never felt like it was going to slip no matter how much sweat dripped onto the mat. I’ve always used towels over my mat that I wet hoping to make them more grippy – which didn’t always work. This mat was 10 times better than any towel I’ve ever used. I’m giving it four stars because it could be wider and it did slip around the floor a couple of inches. I really wish I had found this mat much earlier in my almost 10 years of practicing hot yoga.

I use this mat every day and it is a good amount of thickness but yet I’m still able to feel close to the ground and I don’t slip on it so I really love it

For price and performance fantastic. I’ve taught yoga for over 10 years. I personally practice 2-4x a week on this mat primarily hot yoga and it’s holding up great! I don’t roll it up great and I toss it around and it’s handling it like a champ. You do have to roll it with cork on the outside or it will crease. I also recommend pour a little or spray a little water where your hands and feet go in the beginning of practice to give more traction – not slip. Once I start sweating it’s fine but in the beginning sometimes it’s a little slippery. (I’ve used all the name brand mats over my career and practice and I just wanted to see how a cheap basic mat would compare and this has been better than I expected).

I wanted a cork mat, but wasn’t sure what to expect at this low price point. It’s early days with this one, but I’m very impressed by its quality and cushioning.

These are great for doing hot yoga! The cork absorbs water and let’s you continue with the positions without losing grip.

Único tapeteue no se resbalan las manos, me encanta, tiene un olor agradable a corcho después de un par de meses, en cuanto al grosor no se me lastiman los tobillos y rodillas.
Al desenrollarlo toma tiempo para que se extienda bien el extremo del tapete cosa que a mi no me molesta, pero si eres muy exigente con esto si sería tema.
A mi en lo particular me encanta y lo voy a volver a comprar cuando se necesite cambiar
