Purchase for my wife who is very happy with it and uses it pretty much four times a week. At first I pumped it up to close to the 65cm size but it was too firm for my wife so dropped the pressure to suite her style of workout. Happy days.

The ring base is leaking in one week

Llegó correctamente en tiempo y en forma, pero hay que estar al pendiente del repartidor porque los entregan sin checar los datos correctamente a otros domicilios

I bought this for my son as a recommended by his PT for his flat feet, Sever’s and Plantar Fasciitis he developed in his right foot. He is very active in all he does and so to keep him off his feet some his PT suggested the balance ball. He can still be active but limit the time on his feet excessively jumping and bouncing. Highly recommend!

Ball works, seems to be holding the air just fine but the pump broke after first use. Had to piece it back together and then it broke a second time. Thankfully I managed to pump up the ball but the pump quality is disappointing. Will likely have to get an alternative solution if I ever decide I want to pump it up more in the future.

Love it! Put together correctly it’s perfect and holds air well. Use in my treatment rooms and they are quiet.

Update:
Ok I was wrong. After a lot of talking to others someone figured how to get the plastic stopper out. She was able to find a tool. I came in one day and the ball was fully blown up. I apparently didn’t blow it all the way up. I sit on it frequently now and I’m able to stretch my back. I have updated the stars and admit I was wrong. It is a good ball.
I got a very small ball. The box says large 65 and that’s what I ordered. I have another of the size I ordered but this is way smaller. I can’t use it as my knees are in my chest. I can’t get the plug out either to deflate it. So I can’t return it. The ball itself is of good quality. But even the tape that came with it is larger. I can’t get anymore air in it. Not at all happy.

I wanted to love this. Maybe I just got a defective one, but later we now this up, we were unable to get the “pin” flush with the ball. It was sticking out a half an inch even after deflating and reinstating. I had my husband try and it popped! I didn’t even get a chance to use it.

No 5th star due to the scent of PVC. Had it inflated for about 5days now, nothing else around it, & it still stinks. I’d recommend keeping kids & pets away from touching it! Give them a project or a toy while you use it. If you get the kids ball then I’d cover it with a blanket before allowing kid on it. Even kids 18 are still maturing & I wouldn’t want to knowingly allow harmful toxins to absorb into them.
Misleading info on website: “up to 300lbs” when it says right on the box 250lbs weight limit.
It is easy but slow to inflate. It’s faster just blowing air into it with your mouth (or bike pump).
Must read instructions as you have to inflate day 1, then day 2 deflate then reinflate – before usage.
The measuring tape is not very helpful but make sure ball is medium soft-firm.
If concerned about the toxic harm of material being absorbed in your skin I found “ball bag cover holders” on etsy. I’m sure the chemicals will still leech into the cotton (& into you) but at least you’d have a bit of a barrier more so than just touching the ball directly (wearing clothing helps). Also have to consider your own health & weigh the benefits you’d receive from exercising compared to not exercising with this ball & how that will effect your health. Generally, working & stretching one’s body is better than not.

This Gaiam balance ball and base kit is fantastic for working from home! It’s comfortable, helps with posture, and adds a bit of activity to my day. The included pump makes it easy to set up, and the base keeps it stable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their home office setup!

There was little to no point for the pump that was included in the box, and was still completely useless for top-ups after it was fully inflated. I, initially, could not get the ball inflated to within 15cm of the specified diameter using the included pump – despite letting it sit for 24-hours & trying to pump it up further, allowing for stretching to occur. I had to order attachments for my bike pump to be able to get it fully inflated, which was really annoying. But, once it was fully inflated, it works great. I also really like the ring base that keeps it from rolling anywhere … super usefully when you have to get up frequently when working on a project. My old ball would always end up rolling into my flat-mate/flat-mate’s desk, which annoyed both of us. So, overall positive after the initial frustration.
