    I’ve tried just about every facial cleanser on the market over the past 20 years. For the longest time, I settled on CeraVe as my go-to. It felt like a solid, dependable choice. But then I tried this, and everything changed.

    CeraVe is still a decent second, but it’s a distant second. Sure, it cleans your face, but when you’re done, there’s no real feeling of transformation. No real difference. With Kiehl’s, that’s not the case. When I rinse it off, my face feels fresh, revitalized—new. The skin looks clearer, smoother, even a bit brighter. It’s almost unbelievable how noticeably clean and healthy it looks afterward.

    There’s a level of satisfaction I get from using Kiehl’s that no other cleanser has come close to matching. And that’s not a dig at CeraVe—it’s a great option for people with sensitive skin who want something gentle and effective. But Kiehl’s goes the extra mile. It delivers results you can see and feel.

    The only downside? It can be a little drying. But that’s easily resolved with a quality moisturizer post-use. For me, it’s a non-issue.

    Bottom line: I don’t see myself using anything else.

    This cleanser does clean your face well. It has a nice lather on your face and I usually have suds on my eyebrows after rinsing. I use a wet wash cloth to help with rinsing. A small amount goes a long way, it’s a liquid that is very smooth and soft on your face. I think it’s cleaning my face well as it feels clean and refreshed. It dries my exceedingly dry skin and I follow the cleanser with the Keil’s cream. Perfect then. Maybe a little more expensive than the drug store cleansers but I feel it’s worth every penny I pay. It also feels so very nice in your hand!

    I bet there’s not a cleanser in existence that I haven’t tried and I always return to this one. I am a mature woman with skin that’s on the drier side. La Roche Posay makes a great hydrating gentle cleanser as does Paula’s Choice Tata Harper etc etc…I find a lot of the cleansers I get for Dry skin tend to be the creamy non foaming types and they are good but I love a little foam but I don’t want to strip my skin of good stuff. This is my favorite. The travel size is a perfect way to try it and it really lasts. Theres no fragrance at all (which I just cant tolerate at all). You just need a tiny pea size amount and it really works. I don’t feel the need to double cleanse with it but if you do, it’s fine as this is just terrific. I am just going to subscribe and save so I don’t have to ever think about it again. It’s not the cheapest but it’s a fair price especially for how far it goes. You really don’t need a lot and your face is just clean and fresh without feeling dry which is something I have difficulty finding when it comes to foaming washes. Love this!!

    I use Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser morning and night. I have normal skin, so this cleans just right without drying or over oiling my skin. I sent this to my son at college, and while he tends to have some breakouts, it is enough to unclog his pores and clean his skin, if used regularly. It does not have a fragrance, which I appreciate.
    However, this is not the product if you suffer from regular acne. It just isn’t enough to combat true skin issues (nor does it claim to). It is a cleanser, not a skin treatment or corrective.
    Like all Kiehl’s products, one needs to only use a small amount with each use, and the product will last a long time. So while it may seem to be on the pricier side for a cleanser, this size will last you a few months, and is a good value for the money.

    I use this soap twice daily as a facial cleaner. It only requires a small amount to be effective and has enough sudsing to lift all daily accumulated dirt and grime from my face. It is very gentle on the skin, not causing any drying out at all. I have used this brand for well over 15 years now and have yet to find a better product.

    I have been a Cetaphil cleanser user for almost 6-7 years now and I haven’t changed my cleaner anywhere in between but I thought I should give it a try and use Kiehl’s ultra facial cleanser and Oh My Goodness after the first wash itself my skin was baby smooth. I am surprised and in shock at the same time. And only a pea amount of product does wonders to the whole face. (I have a dry skin)
    Highly highly recommend it to everyone to try it once. Even though it’s costly you should try it because you have to use a small amount of it so it will go a long way.
    Also one important note if you have a dry skin like mine, this will make your skin more dry so try using one more facewash which will work as a balance.
