My favorite soap and I have tried many of the scents and the scent of this is pleasant and this brand has a good lather and it’s effective at keeping my skin soft. The bottle is very durable and I have not had any issues with them leaking. I have this on my subscribe and save so it’s a great value for the money.

NIVEA MEN Maximum Hydration Body Wash is a fantastic product for keeping skin moisturized and refreshed. First of all, let’s talk about the scent. It’s not overpowering or too fancy, just a clean and fresh smell that’s quite appealing. I appreciate that it doesn’t leave me smelling like a walking perfume bottle after my shower. It’s subtle, which is just how I like it.
Now, onto the important stuff – hydration. I’ve always had issues with dry skin, especially during the colder months, and finding a body wash that helps with that has been a bit of a struggle. But with NIVEA MEN Maximum Hydration Body Wash, I’ve noticed a real improvement. My skin feels noticeably softer and less dry, which is a big win for me.
The aloe vera in this body wash seems to do the trick. I’ve heard aloe vera is good for the skin, and I can vouch for it now. It feels soothing and doesn’t make my skin feel tight or itchy after the shower, like some other body washes I’ve tried in the past.
The lather is another thing I’ve come to appreciate. You don’t need to use a ton of this stuff to get a good lather going. Just a small amount on a loofah or washcloth is enough to cover your whole body. This means the pack of three 16.9 Fl Oz bottles will last you quite a while, which is budget-friendly in my book.

I know skincare isn’t gender-specific, but there’s something reassuring about using a product that’s made with guys in mind. I haven’t really liked any of the Nivea body washes that I’ve previously tried, but I wanted to give this one a shot based on it being “Maximum Hydration.”
Now, in all honesty I’m not all that certain how you judge something’s hydration-ness, but just in comparison to other products, I would say this body wash does pretty well in that area. It’s certainly where it excels as a product.
But there isn’t a whole lot of other things to get super excited over. It’s a little thin for my preference, and the scent isn’t anything to write home about. But note, if you’re someone who is sick of the whole “Secret Dragon Fart Sauce” in a bottle smell-a-thon that a certain other brand espouses…you may very well appreciate this subtle, grown up scent.
Overall, it certainly works as a body wash and is priced pretty well in this 3 pack. For me, I’ve found others I like better in this same price range….But I would buy and use this again in a pinch.

UPDATE 1/24/21
After now using this body wash for the last 6+ months, I’m upping my rating another star….I keep coming back to this and I can’t seem to bring myself to move to something else.
This has a clean, grown up scent that my wife enjoys. It’s affordable, and it gets me nice and clean without being harsh or drying out my skin.
This stuff is definitely a winner. +1 for 4/5 stars
