I recently purchased the Quest Nutrition Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Protein Bars, and I couldn’t be more pleased! These bars are an absolute delight. With 20g of protein and only 1g of sugar, they fit perfectly into my keto diet without sacrificing flavor. The chocolate chip cookie dough taste is incredibly satisfying, and it genuinely feels like you’re indulging in a treat rather than a health bar.
The texture is fantastic—soft and chewy without being overly dense. I love that they only have 5g of net carbs, making them an excellent snack option for anyone watching their carbohydrate intake. Plus, they’re gluten-free, which is a bonus for those with dietary restrictions.
I’ve tried various protein bars, but none compare to the taste and nutritional profile of these. They’re perfect for on-the-go snacking or a post-workout boost. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a guilt-free protein-packed snack that is both delicious and nutritious. Five stars all the way!

I was a huge fan of the Quest protein bars, have been eating them for many months. However today I bit down on some weird clump and pulled out a disgusting piece of stringlike… something (see pic). So gross! I No way can I finish the bar, and not sure if I can ever eat another which sucks because I bought two of these boxes (24 bars).
I’m poor so I’ll probably finish the remaining bars and pray I don’t find any other unpleasant surprises. After that I’ll search for a replacement which is a bummer, because I already did a lot of research, like what sweeteners, protein profile, artificial ingredients, saturated fat, price, etc., and decided on Quest. I was eating think! bars before, maybe I’ll switch back to those (although only 10g protein per bar); or perhaps a new bar is on the market.

Best low carb cookie dough protein bar with 20 grams of protein and hardly any sugar.

I’ve been enjoying these bars for a while now, and they truly stand out among protein snacks. The Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough flavor is incredibly authentic—it tastes just like sneaking a spoonful of cookie dough from the bowl, but without the guilt.
The texture is soft and satisfying, with just the right amount of chewiness. Whether I need a quick breakfast, a post-workout refuel, or a midday snack, these bars fit the bill perfectly. Overall, these bars offer a delicious and nutritious option that doesn’t compromise on taste. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a protein-packed snack that feels like a treat.

Flavor is pretty good, decent about of protein, can melt if left in car. Can also get mushy and sticky. Out of all the flavor variety this is one of the better qualities.

If you’ve read many other reviews of these, you’ve probably come across many others that agree that these taste great, but the concern is usually that they’re costly for protein bars. I can confirm both of those statements. If you’re looking for an affordable protein bar that will primarily provide protein, these may not be your best bet. For me, I’m not mainly looking for protein so much as a good tasting, sweet treat that I can indulge while on the keto diet. If you haven’t tried the keto diet, one of the primary restrictions of it is sugar, so if you’re someone with any kind of a sweet tooth, you’re going to have to try and find satisfaction with sugar-free foods, most of which just aren’t nearly as tasty. Finding something that can work as a dessert was practically impossible on keto, but these bars are great for it. They are expensive (a dozen for $24, so even buying in bulk, they’re still $2 each, but I never see them in stores anywhere), but they really do taste like you’re munching on some legit chocolate chip cookie dough, which is normally a HUGE no no with keto. They only have 4 net carbs per bar, so you can have one of these for dessert every day, guilt free and not cheat on your keto diet (the most important part to get the keto diet to work is to not cheat on it). These are definitely an indulgence that’s worth their high price if you’re on keto and still want to eat something sweet every now and then.

We used these bars a long time now,
We take them on our trips,
They slip fine in a pocket or purse,
When a meal you have to skip.
The protein content’s right up there,
The texture’s not too bad,
You’ll need some water when you eat a bar,
But with the energy you’ll be glad.
They will go hard in a year or so,
But ours never last that long,
They’re better than other bars I’ve tried,
Don’t think that you could go wrong.
Taste is good, a little after taste but not bad

These are the very best sugar and gluten free protein bars I have ever had. Very good! Highly recommend.
