The tube I received was perfect. Had no content separation like so many recent negative reviews. Ordered two days ago. Delivered today.
Glides on smoothly and I gives dewy glow and freshness that my skin has been craving. Bought with hope to prevent perioral dermatitis from reoccurring, as I recently restored my skin by using two different products that left my skin super-dry and flaky in the healing process. I am a first-timer with PD and quickly researched what has actually worked for people.
I think this could be a daily moisturizer for me. I will see how well it co-exists with my sheer cream-based foundation. I would love for them to work together.
Very pleased with the texture of this cream. My skin feels moisturized and protected.

Da meine Haut super empfindlich ist, habe ich oft Probleme damit. Vor Jahren habe ich dieses Produkt mal in einer Apotheke und es mir nun hier bestellt.
Bei der ersten Benutzung kam ziemlich viel Flüssigkeit herausgelaufen. Wodurch ich erst mal “klitschnass” war.
Die Creme an sich lässt sich sehr gut auf der Haut verteilen und hinterlässt auch keine Spuren.
Schon nach der ersten Anwendung war meine Haut am nächsten Tag sichtlich beruhigter. Meine empfindliche Haut verträgt diese Creme auch sehr gut.

This product was recommended to me by my dermatologist, I use it all the time and would recommend it. But what I buy at the clinic is very different from the product I and my daughter received in this Amazon order. I ordered two tubes, one for her and one for me in smaller amounts than what I normally buy. One was for her to try and one was for me for travel. I will never order this product through Amazon again. When I opened the tube, immediately water flowed out of the container. As I use it I have to shake the water off and out of it first before the cream comes out. The cream is not the same consistency of the cream that I buy at the clinic. My daughter gave the one I had sent her back to me because of this same issue, she’s uncomfortable using it and she thinks there is something wrong with the product. I think so too. Unfortunately I have missed the window to return the product. So I leave this message instead. As I said, I have been buying this same product at a dermatology clinic. The cream that I buy through them is thicker and does not contain water that pours out of it when you open it. Could this be a result of settling or is the water is being added as a filler? I don’t know. What I do know is it definitely does not seem to be the same product that I normally use.

Do this for every use and the product will not be watery. It took me three tries.
I do facial laser treatments for acne scars and lighten dark spots. I’m supposed to avoid toner for 5 days but I got impatient and I learned the hard way why I should have waited. My skin burned and itched.
A friend told me about this product so I bought it immediately. I was very desperate to fix my peeling skin so on the first night, I used a generous amount and massaged every inch of my face while watching an entire anime episode and those are 18-20 minutes long.
The next morning, holy crap. A Miracle. My face was S M O O T H. I was still itching and burning but it was tolerable, but the important thing was that the peeling was gone and dry patches were an easy fix. It only took three days for my face to heal.
I don’t mind the cost, it’s an absolute investment especially for skin emergencies!

This is a great cream from Avene, helps soothe dry, sensitive/inflammed skin & razor bumps too, and a little goes a long a way. I would recommend!

First package I got was all water second was the same all water they are not appropriate don’t order. You should never have to put this tube into a glass of hot water in order to make into a crème there is something very wrong with these batches it it is a fake product y as there have been women who have used it and there have been severe consequences with using it. It’s not supposed to be a dense substance, but a thick diaper crème as I have used it for years. It actually a barrier crème or a protective crème. I have contacted Avenue now and issued a stern request to pull all of these lots and investigate these as they also have a very bad stench to them. Do hit use theses products if they are watery as there is a good chance they are not what they seem.

I love this cream I had ablative C02 laser and the office after 14 days sent me home with the Avene SOS kit. It had the gentle face wash, the avene spray H20 , and this wonderful restorative cream and sunscreen NOW, it it true that sometime when you first get it you squeeze and oil only comes out — just put under warm water and squish the tube to mix up the contents. You may have to do this each time but after about the 4th time I did not have to do anymore completely mixed. It is a thick creme but absorbs well into the skin. Again, just what I needed after my laser. I loved so much will continue to use the wash and the creme for a long time and the sun skin is great too but i would prefer tinted.

Great cream for retinol users! This is a very hydrating cream that I use on my face to hydrate and replenish moisture from retinol treatments. It’s thick, unscented, and dries up very nicely on my face.

I read the reviews, but it was on a 50% sale, so I decided to give it a try. It was watery at first, but I didn’t want to return it. So, I did what others suggested and put it in hot water. I had to do this three times on the first day and twice on the second day. I placed it in hot water until the water was no longer warm and mixed it by pressing the tube several times. I didn’t throw any water out of the tube. Now, it’s creamy, and I’m crossing my fingers it stays that way.
Another note: squeeze out as much air as possible from the bottle. I didn’t do this, and it became watery in less than 24 hours. On the second day, I tried to squeeze out as much air as possible, and it’s been more than 48 hours now, and the consistency is thick and creamy.
