One thing I’ve noticed is that as we age, one thing that really makes us look old is not so much the fine lines in the forehead area or around the mouth, but rather the bags around the eyes.

If you can minimize them, get rid of the dark color, you can look 5-10 years younger very easily.

I use this before bed, put the product under the eyes and am noticing a continuous lightening of the dark area under the eyes. It’s making me look younger, as a result.

Applying the product is easy, it doesn’t irritate my skin, no burning sensation, no noticeable odor, etc.

I also need to stop itching my eyes from allergies I get in spring. The skin under your eyes is very sensitive and can stretch easily. Keep that in mind.

  2. Jungle Shopper

I have found many eye creams very irritating to use around the eye. This one is really soothing and provides comfort from irritation. I really like it. I’m not sure if it’s worked miracles for lifting dark circles around the eyes but I imagine that by stopping some irritation, it is helping lift some of that darkness. I liked the pump because it dispenses just the right amount of product. However, I can’t get the last little bit of product out from the bottle now that it’s almost empty and hate to waste it.

This product seems to work well for eye treatments, but the amount of product is small. With tiny dots for each use (morning and night), the container lasts about two weeks. It comes out find for about 7 days, and then it appears empty. Continued pumping of the container causes more product to emit, but I am looking for an alternative to this product. It is frustrating to use.

I love this Cetaphil Healthy Renew Eye Gel serum. 65 year old woman. About a year ago, I encountered an issue with certain products irritating my skin badly- even ones I had previously been using. After some trial n error, this is my favorite eye cream with no harsh chemicals, yuca rated excellent. Makes my eye area feel very hydrated. The consistency is between a cream and a serum. It glides on nicely and does not sting my eyes or irritate at all. Some have complained about the pump and the cost for the size. I have used this twice a day around my eye area for 6 months-that’s not too bad. The pump is only annoying when it starts to run out but I stick a q tip in to try to get every last drop, lol. I’m about to order my 2nd bottle.

This stuff is amazing. It’s a little tacky feeling so I only use it at night. But I can see the results. The skin under my eyes looks smoother.

I liked this serum. It has zero fragrance, is lightweight, spreads easily, and absorbs easily into the skin. Plays well with Cerave Moisturizing Cream* and Tretinoin / prescription Retin-A (i.e., no pilling or balling up and shedding of the product off the skin).

My eyelids and the corner of my eyes often feel tight and dry. I rub Cerave Moisturizing Cream on that area but the dry, tight feeling persists. My last resort is to apply Aquaphor Healing Ointment but I can only do that when I am not wearing makeup. Plus, the ointment is thick, gives a slightly greasy/ shiny look, and may potentially clog pores and cause milia (I have milia, so I know). My favorite YouTuber dermatologist, Dr. Dray”, recommended this serum. I find that this is moisturizing enough to eliminate the tight/dry skin feeling around my eyes yet thin enough to easily absorb into the skin and not give a shiny/greasy look.

My only gripe is that this is pretty expensive for a small amount (0.5 ounces). I bought this on Amazon for $21.92. The price on Amazon today is $16.90. Doing a quick price comparison on Amazon, it looks like 0.5 ounce eye creams are priced around the $14-$21 price range.

The pump can be twisted off but it is difficult to get every last bit of this product out of the bottle.

Instead of this, I highly recommend Cerave Eye Repair Cream** ($14.23 for 0.5 ounces). It is slightly thicker, not as liquid as this serum, absorbs quickly and easily, moisturizing, fragrance-free, and does not sting my eyes.

Other eye cream prices in comparison:

Cerave Eye Repair Cream ($14.23 for 0.5 oz.)
Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Eye Cream *** ($17.14 for 0.5 oz.)
L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Anti-Wrinkle and Firming Eye Cream**** ($10.95 for 1.7 oz.)

It takes a little longer than 14 days, but it works. I’ve been a fan of Cetaphil for 20+ years this product works.

  8. Crafter

Unscented and emollient, a little goes a long way. Very nice eye cream for the price. I will repurchase again.
