I have been looking for a book to work through with my mom to help her gain strength and mobility post knee replacement. This is just what I was looking for. I appreciated how user friendly the book was. There are lots of exercises here and each one has an illustration. The illustrations are large and clear to see, even for someone with poorer eye sight. Everything is explained well and in a clear way. There is also some great tips on developing a routine and staying motivated. THere is a 4 week exercise plan to help you get started.

The illustrations are excellent and easy to follow.

I just bought this book and I already love it. Alessandro does a great job in explaining each exercise with notes that seems like he’s next to me when I workout.

These exercises made me feel stronger in just a few sessions. I also noticed improvements in my balance and posture.

The illustrations are clear and the quality of the book overall stands out compared to other ones.

If you are a senior and, like me, are looking for low impact exercises to do at home to feel better, this is a game-changer.

    Book is easy to read.

Chair Exercises for Seniors is a fantastic guide tailored for older adults aiming to stay fit and active. The carefully curated exercises are not only effective but also considerate of mobility limitations. Very good!

  6. Mrs C Brooke

Being physically handicapped, chair exercises was a good place for me to begin.

  7. Louis Heller

    Perfect exercises

I bought this book having tried one of the Chair-Yoga apps. I like the book better because I can take my time and the exercises are pretty straight forward anyhow. I am knocking one star off because someone needs to proof the text before this book is republished. There are several grammatical errors. And the position of the left-hand page numbers should appear on the open side (left edge) of each page like the right-hand page numbers – not on the gutter edge (bound side). This drove me a little nuts. Otherwise the book it’s fine.

  9. Judy Stevenson

Love this book, the illustrations and instructions are set out simply and the 4 week plan is easy to folliw.

Also the bonus nutrition guide is helpful with plans and help for you to succed. The exercises are not stressful or hard to do. The exercises are listed in areas as, stretching and toning. I found this book to be helpful because it’s not hard. My doctor wanted me to start exercising slowly and work up. This is the perfect start.

I liked how I can adapt the exercises to my physical abilities by doing them in a chair. There is one exercise that as a senior with limited mobility I’m unable to do and that’s the side plank. So I skip it. Some seniors probably can do it but not me. Which is ok. My reason for doing this type of exercise is I broke my leg and it’s taking several months to heal so I’ve become very stiff and my muscles have gotten really tight as a result of favoring the leg because of the pain. These chair exercises help me get back to having more flexibility and strength while being safe sitting in a chair for the most part.

Large Print may putting it mildly, but then again I’ve never had to use large print before. I like that it has pictures so I know what I’m doing. It reads 100+ illustrations but to be honest I haven’t counted. Came on time, bottom right corner is slightly bent but nothing to cry about. The pages are neat and clean, I did go back and fourth to make sure. The book was larger than I anticipated, I’m gonna love to begin this book. Thank You Amazon.

It didn’t do what I was looking for.
