Kneeling positions were putting unwanted pressure on my knees. For padding, I tried pillows, two yoga mats on top of each other, sheepskin slippers, even an old gym exercise mat. Why did I wait so long? These knee pads are excellent, soft, yet supportive! And they have great traction so they don’t slide around.

They do the trick. I had the wrap around the knees, but sweating made the back of my knees irritated. These I can easily put under my knees and remove from the mat when not necessary. Love them.

I was on the fence about these because I’ve tried blankets and more cushiony yoga mats and mats in general and nothing really needs to protect my stupid knees or wrists from being obliterated. These however, did help more than I thought they would. They aren’t huge but they are thick enough to protect my aching mid-30s knees from turning to dust. They are non slip so definitely better than a blanket. I use them all the time and I am thankful for my desperation to keep my knees and wrists from breaking in my foolish yoga endeavors.
